Two K-pop groups, BTS and BLACKPINK, are in first and second place in South Korean artists’ October 2022 brand reputation rankings.
Based on data from the Korea Business Research Institute, the ranking was carried out by analyzing various stars’ media coverage, consumer participation, interaction, and community awareness indexes, using big data collected from September 30 to October 30, 2022.
Reporting Soompi, Sunday (10/30/2022), BTS topped this month’s brand reputation list with a brand reputation index of 9,921,620, marking a 24.15 percent increase in their score since September.
While BLACKPINK took second place in the ranking with a brand reputation index of 6,565,540. Then followed by soccer star Son Heung Min who came in third with a total index of 6,434,523.
Meanwhile, IU rose to fourth place with a brand reputation index of 6,331,900, and Lim Young Woong entered the top five with a score of 6,059,274 for October.
