The news that the pricey actor Lee Byung Hun would return with the film The Match recently piqued the interest of the public. As a result, when both Korean A-list actors’ films are released by Netflix, Lee Byung Hun and Song Hye Kyo will formally reunite.
Many Korean drama production titans are expecting a prosperous year in 2022. Online streaming services, in addition to large broadcasters that have shown movies and have “poor” viewing figures, such as JTBC or tvN, are equally fruitful.
Recently, “movie nerds” voiced their excitement after learning that two Emperors – Photo Emperor Lee Byung Hun and Yoo Ah In would cooperate in the film The Match. This is a project about the clash of two world-renowned Go players, Cho Hoon Hyun and Lee Chang Ho, as performed by Lee Byung Hun – Yoo Ah In. The Match has confirmed that it will be available on the Netflix platform, but no exact date has been given.
The foregoing information has piqued the interest of netizens since, without delving into the substance, this project is thought to be a lock for acting due to the presence of Yoo Ah In and Lee Byung Hun. Many people realized that Lee Byung Hun and his ex-lover Song Hye Kyo had formally reconnected when their films were both available on Netflix, in addition to their excitement for this new endeavor.
Previously, the pair cooperated in All In and openly dated, but everyone parted ways, much to the chagrin of fans.
With their reappearance practically simultaneously, the fans saw this as a chance to compare Lee Byung Hun and Song Hye Kyo, to see who would be in better form following All In (2003).
After several years of ‘breakup,’ Song Hye Kyo and Lee Byung Hun have announced their reunion.
