BLACKPINK Makes Proud, Overtakes Justin Bieber, BTS, and Ed Sheeran on YouTube.

BLACKPINK is now a Korean girl band with the highest number of subscribers globally. This is proof of BLACKPINK’s popularity which is recognized worldwide. The number of subscribers increased sharply after BLACKPINK released their first full-length album, “THE ALBUM,” in June 2020.
THE ALBUM contains eight songs, two of which are “How You Like That” and “Ice Cream,” in collaboration with Selena Gomez.
Last August, when releasing “How You Like That,” the girl band consisting of Rose, Jisoo, Jennie, and Lisa broke several YouTube records.
They surpassed Eminem to occupy the fourth position as the artist with the most subscribers.
When releasing “Ice Cream” with Selena Gomez, BLACKPINK shifted Ed Sheeran, who took third place on the list of artists with the most subscribers on YouTube.
Until 2020 BLACKPINK achieved the latest achievement in the second position of the artist with the most subscribers on YouTube in just a few days before releasing its first full album on October 2, 2020.
Launching from KSTARTREND on Wednesday, March 23, 2022, BLACKPINK was finally confirmed to have around 73 million subscribers on the official YouTube channel, the most globally.
Previously, his agency YG Entertainment said, “I can’t believe it. This is a magical moment created by BLINKs. I want to give glory to fans worldwide who always love and support us.”
Since then, the number of subscribers has continued to increase with the release of group songs and members’ solo songs.
It beat all the famous foreign artists and rose to the top spot.
Meanwhile, behind Blackpink are Justin Bieber (68 million people), BTS (64.8 million people), Marshmallow (54.9 million people), and Ed Sheeran (51.4 million people).
