Blackpink’s Born Pink entered Billboard’s Top 50 Best Albums of the Year.

Recently, Billboard announced the list of the 50 best albums of 2022 selected by this magazine.
According to Billboard, in 2022, several new artists have grown and found their voices in unexpected, exciting ways. They have breakthrough hits and connect with new audiences. Many veteran artists continue honing their trademark skills, creating spectacular and well-received comebacks.
Some artists specialising in making hits continue to grow and surprise audiences with changes in their musical style and image. This can lead to less explosive commercial returns but enhanced artistic value.
Not surprisingly, Billboard selected Bad Bunny’s “Un Verano Sin Ti” as the Best Album of 2022. This album helped Bad Bunny break its record, with 13 non-consecutive weeks dominating the chart. Billboard 200.
22/23 songs on the album entered the Billboard Hot 100 chart in the first week of its release. “Un Verano Sin Ti” is nominated for Album of the Year at the 2023 Grammys.
Another Grammy Nominee ranked by Billboard right after “Un Verano Sin Ti” is Beyoncé’s album “Renaissance”. Even the hardcore music critic site Pitchfork gave “Renaissance” an excellent 9.
Billboard named the third place as Taylor Swift’s “Midnights” album. This is the album with the most explosive digital achievement of the year, even in a decade.
Taylor Swift is the first artist in music history to occupy all Top 10 positions on the Billboard Hot 100, with songs from the album “Midnights”.
Billboard hailed Taylor Swift as “the biggest pop star on the planet” and appreciated her songwriting ability.
“Taylor Swift is unique in maintaining success after success, centred around something she’s been doing, has been, and has been since the beginning of her career: Composing music,” said editor Hannah Dailey. of Billboard, praised Taylor in an article in early November.
Notably, Kpop also has a representative named by Billboard in the Top 50 Best Albums of the year. Blackpink’s album “Born Pink” ranks 42nd.
According to Billboard, with the praise Blackpink received for releasing “The Album” in 2020, the pressure came when the world’s biggest girl group released its second studio album.

Billboard praised the success of “Born Pink” not only because of its influence and perfectly balanced combination of English and Korean.
