Blessing to be a Savior at Snowdrop, BLACKPINK’s Jisoo Wins SEC Awards Brazil.

Snowdrop was a historical drama set in 1987. Written by Yoo Hyun Mi and directed by Jo Hyun Tak, Snowdrop tells the story of the June 1987 democracy movement.
At that time, the South Korean government did not want to hold a fair general election. This mass process movement urged the South Korean government to hold democratic elections in December 1987. Not only that, this event also led to the end of the fifth reign of the authoritarian Republic of Korea and the formation of a democratic government.
Snowdrop presents a tense picture of the situation between November and December 1987. Quoting Mydramalist, this drama tells the story of Lim Soo Ho (Jung Hae In), a graduate student who turns out to be a spy from North Korea. Lim Soo Ho was found covered in blood by Eun Yeong Ro (Jisoo BLACKPINK). Eun Yeong Ro is a student who hides Lim Soo Ho from the police in the girls’ dormitory room. Their meeting grew the seeds of romance between the two.
The drama that was quite touching managed to get a lot of praise from the audience. The audience praised the good news, and the acting of the drama actors Snowdrop was also recognized at the award event. Recently, BLACKPINK’s Jisoo and Snowdrop won an award in Brazil.
Reporting from Kbizoom, Tuesday 6 July 2022, this award is based on voting results for two months. BLACKPINK’s Jisoo also won the Best Feature in the Asian Series category at the Series Em Cen Awards 2022 in Sao Paulo, Brazil. While the drama Snowdrop won the Best Asian Series award.
The Series Em Cen Awards, more commonly known as the SEC Awards, is an event that awards TV series, films, songs, and celebrities yearly. Snowdrop is the debut drama of BLACKPINK Jisoo, who was first known as a K-Pop idol.
This 1995-born idol is the vocalist and also the main visual of BLACKPINK.
She started joining YG Entertainment in 2011 as a trainee. Jisoo debuted with BLACKPINK in August 2016 after five years as a trainee.
Jisoo and the BLACKPINK members are preparing for their comeback, which is planned for this year.
In addition, Jisoo is reportedly going to continue her acting career by starring in a new drama. The allegation arose because Netflix and Disney Plus followed Jisoo’s personal Instagram account.
