BTS’s Jin recently surprised fans by taking on an unusual challenge – a part-time job at a PC room, showcasing his versatility and adaptability. Despite being a global superstar, Jin took on this role with enthusiasm, jokingly expressing that he wished he had pursued something other than a career in entertainment.
On July 27th, BTS’s official channel released a video titled “Coming Home from Work is Harder than Being Discharged from the Military,” featuring Jin in his latest adventure. Known for his love of gaming, Jin was thrilled at the chance to spend the day in a PC room. “I hope this shoot doesn’t end with me just boiling ramen and delivering it,” he playfully remarked.
Jin’s instincts were right as he quickly found himself diving into the complexities of a PC room job. He learned to prepare a variety of menu items, from ramen to refreshing beverages, with surprising speed and humor. “I hope people I know don’t come,” he laughed, feeling slightly embarrassed at the thought of being recognized. “If this keeps up, a lot of Seventeen members might show up!”

But the situation took an unexpected turn when around 20 elementary school students arrived, much to Jin’s surprise. “I wasn’t prepared for this. I already want to clock out!” he exclaimed, realizing the challenges of managing a busy PC room. Taking orders for drinks, he was quickly surrounded by hungry kids demanding their food. “It’s not going to be ready immediately,” he calmly reassured them.
In a light-hearted twist, Jin agreed to play a game with the children, which determined whether he could leave or stay longer. Reflecting on the chaos, he humorously confessed, “I have a newfound respect for parents and teachers managing groups of 20 kids. I thought my ears were going to burst.”
Despite the initial frustration, Jin’s positive attitude shone through. After diligently preparing ramen and receiving compliments from a PC room staff member, he jokingly commented, “Maybe I should have chosen a different career instead of being a celebrity.”
By the end of the day, Jin completed his part-time job with a smile, saying, “I had such a great time filming ‘Run, Seok Jin’ today. My shift is over!” His experience proved once again that he’s ready to take on any challenge – even those outside the realm of fame.
