On March 10, the Korean Institute of Business Reputation announced the results of the brand reputation rankings of Kpop girl groups for April 2022.
The chart is determined by analyzing the consumer participation, media coverage, interaction, and community indexes of different girl groups, using collected big data from March 10 to April 10.
If Blackpink held the top spot last month with a brand reputation index of 4,152,893, this April, (G)I-DLE skyrocketed to the top of the list with a total score of 4,664,162.
This is a considerable increase, (G)I-DLE has increased 1029.79% compared to their brand reputation index since March.
High-ranking terms in (G) I-DLE’s keyword analysis include “TOMBOY,” “Billboard,” and “I NEVER DIE,” while the highest-ranking related terms include “strong” strong,” “participating,” and “cheerful.”
The group’s positive-negative analysis also showed a positive response score of 86.02%.
Blackpink took second place in the chart with a brand reputation index of 4,492,548, marking an 8.18% increase in their score since last month.
Red Velvet rose to third place in April with a brand reputation index of 4,124,272, marking a 72.80% increase in their score since March.
In the end, SNSD and TWICE were in 4th and 5th place, respectively.
