Han So Hee Suffers Facial Injury While Filming ‘Gyeongseong Creature’: An Inside Look.

In a recent press conference held at Layer20 Studio in Yongsan, Seoul, actress Han So Hee revealed a challenging ordeal she faced while shooting her latest drama, ‘Gyeongseong Creature’. The event, held on December 19, 2023, was attended by director Jung Dong-yoon and other notable cast members, including Park Seo Joon, Soohyun, Kim Hae Sook, and Jo Han Chul.Set in the spring of 1945, ‘Gyeongseong Creature’ tells a riveting tale of two young individuals battling a monster born from human greed. During the press conference, Han So Hee shared a personal incident from the set, where she sustained an injury around her eye in August of the previous year.

The actress reflected, “I injured myself due to a bit of greed,” acknowledging that she wasn’t the only one to get hurt during the action scenes. The stunt team and other actors also faced injuries in the demanding environment. She emphasized the inherent risks of action sequences, where avoiding injuries is often a matter of luck.

Han So Hee admitted her own carelessness, expressing regret for not being able to distinguish her limits. “I believe if I had realized it sooner, I might have avoided the injury. I didn’t have to sacrifice my body for it,” she said, showing remorse for the disruption caused to the shooting schedule due to her injury.

‘Gyeongseong Creature’ is set to premiere its first part on December 22, 2023, with the second part scheduled for January 5, 2024. Indonesian audiences can catch this eagerly awaited drama on Netflix. As viewers await its release, Han So Hee’s candid revelations serve as a reminder of the dedication and risks actors often face in bringing compelling stories to life.
