Has Netflix confirmed a third season of ‘The Glory’?

‘The Glory’ returned for a highly successful second season in March 2023, following its debut season in December 2022. The show became Netflix’s most-watched series globally for two weeks straight, with all 16 episodes of parts one and two now available to stream. While there has been no official announcement regarding a third season, the show’s popularity has been acknowledged by Netflix in a press release, where it was revealed that ‘The Glory’ was the most-viewed title of the week just three days after its release.
The cast and crew have spoken about the success of the show, but there has been no mention of a potential third season. Kim Eun-sook, the show’s screenwriter, admitted that the success of the first season made her nervous about the second, but was relieved when the script proved to be great. Song Hye-kyo, who plays the lead character Moon Dong-eun, talked about the physical toll of preparing for a scene that showcased her character’s burn scars, but also expressed her desire to convey that even broken characters like Dong-eun can overcome despair and make something happen.
