Lisa (BLACKPINK) broke the group’s record on Spotify.

According to Spotify’s latest announcement, Lisa – a member of the girl group BLACKPINK – has officially set a new record when becoming a K-Pop artist with the most listened to debut album on this platform.
Specifically, LALISA has surpassed 573 million streams on Spotify – a large number for a debut album. Previously, this record belonged to BLACKPINK with their debut album called Square One. Thus, Lisa has broken her group’s record with her first solo album, LALISA. Not stopping there, Lisa has set a new record within just 176 days since her debut on September 10, 2021.
The 2nd song on the album MONEY has also just climbed back up on the Global Spotify Daily Chart at 96. This song has officially stayed at number 177 days on this chart, becoming the 2nd longest-charting song. Spotify by a female K-pop artist. This record still belongs to BLACKPINK with the “How You Like That.”
The audience has expected Lisa’s solo since the agency YG Entertainment announced it. Therefore, right after its debut, Lisa’s solo song has continuously set many records, helping Lisa become a solo artist with the fastest MV reaching 100 million views on the YouTube platform. The female idol also made a splash on iTunes worldwide with her song when it reached No. 1 in more than 60 countries right after its debut. The song also quickly entered the Billboard Hot 100 chart and ranked 84.
