Song Hye Kyo was smacked in the face and struggled to shoot ‘The Glory.’

The Glory film team conducted a media debut in Korea on December 20. Song Hye Kyo, the work’s female protagonist, attracted the attention as soon as she debuted. The actress exudes dazzling beauty and impeccable dress sense, but she also exudes personality.
Song Hye Kyo told the press that the part of Moon Dong Eun is the sort of character she has always wanted to portray. However, transforming the 41-year-old beauty into Moon Dong Eun in a dark vengeance film like The Glory was not an easy task.
Song Hye Kyo reveals she is having difficulty portraying Moon Dong Eun, a victim of serious school violence, and resolves to spend the rest of her life exacting vengeance on those involved in her bullying event last year. 8X beauty believes that in order to express this character successfully, she should attempt to display powerful and harsh aspects rather than a pathetic look.
Song Hye Kyo and Lim Ji Yeon (the villain Park Yeon Jin) sustained several “injuries” during dramatic fight sequences in The Glory. Both beauties’ cheeks were swelled, especially during the slapping part. Song Hye Kyo also said that this was the first time she had been smacked like way, despite being in the industry for a long time.
“When I was smacked, my mind went blank and I couldn’t recall the following phrase. When the director said, “Cut!” I glanced in the mirror and noticed that my cheeks were covered with fingerprints, so I couldn’t continue recording the following scene. Lim Ji Yeon and I, on the other hand, couldn’t stop shooting. So we both applied ice, relaxed, and then filmed the following scene,” Song Hye Kyo said.
The plot of The Glory centres on the character Moon Dong Eun, who has a damaged spirit as a result of high school violence. She intends to exact vengeance on people who have tormented her in the past as an adult. In addition to Song Hye Kyo, the film stars Lee Do Hyun, Lim Ji Yeon, Yum Hye Ran, Park Sung Hoon, and others.
After the success of Descendants of the Sun, Song Hye Kyo and screenwriter Kim Eun Sook reunite in The Glory. Ahn Gil Ho directs the piece. The drama will premiere on December 30th, 2022
