The album “READY TO BE” by TWICE has achieved the second-highest first-week sales among girl groups in Circle Chart history.

TWICE is on the rise with their latest mini album, “READY TO BE,” released on March 10th. The album features a captivating title track, “SET ME FREE,” and has been soaring in popularity since its release.
According to Circle Chart data, the album sold an impressive total of 1,427,039 copies in its first week of release, surpassing aespa’s “Girls” to become the second-highest first-week sales record for any female artist in Circle (Gaon) chart history. The only album by a female artist to have achieved higher first-week sales to date is BLACKPINK’s “BORN PINK.”
In addition, “READY TO BE” broke TWICE’s personal record for first-week sales, with a total of 651,205 copies sold from March 10th to 16th, according to Hanteo Chart. Unlike Circle Chart, Hanteo Chart tracks real-time sales instead of shipments of stock sales made to retailers, which is why their sales figures often differ.
TWICE’s latest album has been receiving widespread recognition and appreciation from their fans all over the world, who have been showing their support by purchasing the album and streaming its tracks. With its soaring success, “READY TO BE” has undoubtedly cemented TWICE’s position as one of the most popular and influential girl groups in the K-pop industry.
