The Glory, a new Korean drama series on Netflix with a revenge premise, features a strong ensemble cast. The program will focus on the premise that sometimes hatred “is difficult to get rid of,” portraying a somewhat sinister and character-driven route of retribution. In addition to the cast members’ appearance, the kdrama is already generating a lot of excitement thanks to the creators, who have a history of producing exceptional cinematic experiences.
The upcoming episodes of the “holy tragedy” will have “no mercy” in frigid December and will be directed by An Gil-ho of Stranger fame and written by Kim Eun-sook, the author of well-liked love fantasies like Guardian: The Lonely and Great God and The King: Eternal Monarch. Meet The Glory’s Characters
The Glory features a cast that is headlined by the dynamic pair of Song Hye-kyo and Lee Do-hyun and is guaranteed to be a huge smash of its type. While the main character’s pledge to “slowly wilt and die together” in the teaser trailer of the kdrama does give us goosebumps, there’s no way to predict what is in store for us in the noir plot that lies ahead of us.
Song Hye-kyo portrays Moon Dong-eun, who emerges as the saga’s face, while Jung Ji-so plays her younger self. The former gained notoriety as the up-and-coming Hallyu star with her performances in Autumn Tale (2000), All In (2003), Full House (2004), My Girl and I (2005), Descendants of the Sun (2016), and other films. The latter was last seen as Ha Young-eun in Now, We Are Breaking Up (2021), and she initially shot to fame as the rising Hallyu star.
Lee Do-hyun takes over as the next significant lead and portrays Joo Yeo-jung. He is well recognized for his parts in the live-action Sweet Home webtoon, 18 Again (2020), and Hotel Del Luna (2019). (2020). Im Ji-yeon plays Park Yeon-jin, Yeom Hye-ran plays Kang Hyun-nam, Park Sung-hoon plays Jeon Jae-joon, Jung Sung-il plays Ha Do-young, and Kim Hieora, Cha Joo-young, and Kim Gun-woo play supporting parts in the intense pictures bursting with overwhelming fervor.
