Thus, this week’s top spot on the Billboard Hot Trending Songs chart has “changed” when it belongs to group SB19 from the Philippines. The song “Bazinga” recorded 1.5 million mentions on Twitter in the new week. This is the first time an artist has overtaken BTS and the first time SB19 has topped a chart of Billboard’s system.
The song “Bazinga” ranked at the top 1 because the group just performed at the 34th Awit Awards on November 29. The song also received the “Favorite Song” award voted by fans at this event.
Since the chart’s debut, BTS has been cut off from the undefeated streak on Billboard Hot Trending Songs.
Notably, two Lisa – Blackpink group songs are no longer in the top 10 but fell to 14th and 15th place.
