Actress Hwang Jung-eum has stepped back into the spotlight, marking her first official appearance since her divorce announcement from ex-husband Lee Young-don. Reflecting on her portrayal, she shared, “Approaching and understanding Rahee took a lot of time. I immersed myself in the character to truly grasp her complexity.”
Acknowledging the influence of her co-stars, particularly those experienced with Kim Soon-ok’s works, Hwang Jung-eum humbly admitted a shift in perspective. “I thought I was a hardworking actor,” she confessed. “But witnessing the dedication of senior actors like Eun-kyung, Jong-hoon, and Ki-jun oppa, my outlook changed completely.”
