Renowned actress Song Hye Kyo graced the cover of Harper’s Bazaar Korea for the magazine’s June issue, captivating readers with her timeless elegance and insightful reflections. During the pictorial shoot, she seamlessly transitioned between high-end jewelry and casual everyday outfits, underscoring her natural yet sophisticated charm.
In a special collaboration dedicated entirely to her, Song Hye Kyo opened up in an exclusive interview following the photo shoot. Addressing the topic of aging, the actress expressed a refreshing perspective. “I don’t feel burdened standing in front of a camera as I age.
It’s a natural process. To some extent, I try to look like I’m ‘aging more slowly than my age,’ but I don’t want to defy the natural flow of time. One can’t always maintain a bright and youthful appearance as they age. I believe lighter makeup and simple outfits make us more stylish as we grow older,” she stated.

Reflecting on her recent hit drama “The Glory,” Song Hye Kyo shared the intense dedication she poured into her role. “I didn’t have any personal life as Song Hye Kyo while filming ‘The Glory.’ I lived entirely as the character Moon Dong Eun from the moment I woke up until I went to bed.
I felt a great void after the series ended as I no longer had to live as Dong Eun. I think it was especially because the drama was very emotional, and my character underwent human suffering. It took quite a long time, but I was able to bid her a proper farewell, which enabled me to move on to a new project.”
Turning to her upcoming project, she revealed details about “Dark Nuns” (literal title), a film centered on two nuns struggling to save a child possessed by an evil spirit. Describing it as a women-led narrative, she expressed her excitement for the project. “For the occult genre, the post-production process is really important.
Since I’m acting while imagining the parts where CGI will be inserted, I have high expectations for how the final product will turn out. It is challenging but quite enjoyable. It’s my first time undertaking this type of acting. It’s interesting to see different facial expressions that I’ve never seen before, which are different from Dong Eun’s.”
Song Hye Kyo’s candid reflections and enthusiasm for her craft offer a glimpse into the mind of an actress who embraces every facet of her journey with grace and authenticity.
