Lee Jung Jae and BLACKPINK‘s Jennie met during the 2021 LACMA (Los Angeles County Museum of Art) Art+Film Gala!
On the 14th of November, Lee Jung Jae uploaded on his Instagram some images taken at his 2021 Art+Film Gala that was held on the 6th of November (local date and time). One of them is a selfie taken alongside Jennie at the gala (see the top image).
From a first impression, it could seem like Lee Jung Jae and Jennie have nothing in common since they’re both involved in various fields of entertainment, however they have an uncanny connection that comes from the name Jennie. In the course of an performance during”Creating a Scene” on the JTBC Variety show ” Knowing Bros” in the year 2000, Jennie revealed that her mother, who was a huge lover of Lee Jung Jae, had named her Jennie because it sounded like Jae Hee. This is the name Lee Jung Jae’s character on the show “Hourglass.” Jennie shared she had told Lee Jung Jae about the story after meeting the actor for a short time.
