YG Entertainment shared that Lisa’s “MONEY” surpassed 200 million streams on Spotify.

On the 14th of November, YG Entertainment shared that Lisa’s “MONEY” surpassed 200 million streams on Spotify and achieved the feat at a record pace for a K-pop solo singer.

The track reached this record in 65 days following its launched on 10 September making it the fastest track by a female artist in K-pop to reach 200 million streams on Spotify. By contrast, the song by BLACKPINK’s ” How You Like That” is the fastest song from K-pop girl groups to hit the same number of streams. It took the shortest time of 87 days.

In the last month “MONEY” also became the fastest single by a K-pop solo performer to hit 100 million streamers surpassing the previous record previously set by the band Rose’s ” On The Ground.”

Additionally, “MONEY” has been getting attention on the Spotify global chart, gaining momentum to the no. 5 spot. It also remained on the UK’s Official Singles Chart for six consecutive weeks as well as the Billboard Hot 100 chart for two weeks consecutively.

Lisa recently performed on the single collaboration ” SG” along with DJ Snake, Ozuna, and Megan Thee Stallion. The single was released on 22 October the single landed the No.1 position on iTunes Top Songs charts in 41 countries, and was also able to get within the top 10 on the Billboard Dance/Electronics Song Charts.
